This Week at Hop Angel Brauhaus

On Tuesday, it's Quizzo with Quiz Lord Ryan. 8:30pm.

Starkbierzeit, our Lenten strong beer festival, continues with keep the glass nights on Thursday and Saturday at 7pm. On Thursday it's Weissenohe Bonator. On Saturday we will be pouring Spaten Optimator. We have really, really cool German glasses for each. But supplies are limited.

On Friday, King Groove will be in the house at 9pm.

Saturday, it's a St. Patrick's Eve Party. St. Patrick's officially starts at midnight, but we will start the party a little early on Saturday at 8pm.

On Sunday, Chef Kevin has a St. Patrick's Day Brunch with Irish inspired brunch specials. 10am to 2pm. Stick around, if the weather is nice, we'll move the St. Patick's party out to our beer garden. If it's not nice, we'll it's nice inside too.

Draft Beer Notes

Erdinger Hefeweizen is currently our on German wheat beer line. We had a special request from Anthony for Erdinger. He and his wife spent their honeymoon staying at the brewery in Erding, outside of Munich. So think romance when you think of Erdinger.

Weissenhoe Bonator, one of our two Starkbierzeit beers for this week, is from a Benedictine monestary in Germany. This is literally liquid bread to help the monks fast during Lent.

Spaten Optimator, is our other Starkbierzeit for this week. This liquid bread is from Munich.

Boulder Sweaty Betty is our on American wheat beer line. This one, from Boulder Colorado  is one of my favorite wheat beers. It's a total delight. Full of everything you'd want from a wheat beer.

This weekend, Guinness, the national drink of Ireland, and Sly Fox Seamus Irish Ale will be tap for St. Patrick's Day. Guinness you know and love. If you know Seamus, you probably love it too. Seamus is an amber ale with biscuit notes at the end. Totally delicious.
